Terms
Terms of use, and the terms of the pilot.
Two things live on this page. The first part covers using stampedid.com. The second part covers the 2026 pilot. Plain language, because terms nobody reads protect nobody.
Effective from 18 September 2026. Last updated 18 September 2026.
Who you are agreeing with
StampedID is operated by Ashiq Muhammad, a sole proprietor in Singapore, trading as Ashiq Muhammad, sole proprietor (business registration pending). In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that operator, and "you" means you or the firm you are acting for.
By using stampedid.com you accept the website terms below. By joining the pilot you also accept the pilot terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site and do not join the pilot.
Part one: the website
What this site is
stampedid.com is an information page about a product. It is not the product. Nothing on it is an offer capable of acceptance, and nothing on it creates a contract between us until we have both agreed in writing that you are joining the pilot or buying a subscription.
Prices on this site are indicative
The prices shown on stampedid.com are indicative only. They are in Singapore dollars, they exclude any taxes that may apply, and they may change at any time before StampedID becomes generally available. Nothing is charged during the pilot. The price you eventually pay is the price in the written offer we send you, not the price on a web page.
Screenshots, demonstrations and descriptions
Screenshots, recordings and demonstrations on this site use a seeded demonstration firm with invented projects, invented people and invented firms. Some sample images are AI-generated and are labelled as such. Some features are described before they are finished. See our disclaimers for the detail. The product you receive may differ from what you saw on the site.
Acceptable use
When you use the site or the product, do not:
- break into, probe, or try to get around any access control, on our systems or anyone else's through ours;
- scrape, copy or re-publish the site's content or design for a competing product;
- upload anything unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or malicious;
- upload personal data you have no right to share, including photographs of people who have not been told;
- use the product to harass, surveil or monitor a worker for anything other than evidencing work;
- interfere with anyone else's use of the service, including by overloading it;
- resell or sublicense access, or share account credentials outside your own firm.
If you do any of these we may suspend or close your access without notice. We will tell you why, and we will still give you your data back.
Our name and our work
The StampedID name, the mark, the logo, the wording, the design and the code of this site and the product belong to us, or to the people we licensed them from. We are not giving you any right to use them beyond viewing the site and using the product as intended. "StampedID" is not a registered trade mark at the date of these terms.
Stamped and stampedsg.com are a separate product by the same owner. Using one gives you no rights in the other.
What you upload stays yours
Project data, quotations, photographs and voice notes you or your subcontractors put into StampedID remain yours. You give us permission to store, transmit, display and process them for the purpose of running the service for you, and for no other purpose. We do not use your content to train machine-learning models. We do not use your firm's name, your client's name, or your project address in any marketing material without your written consent.
You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload, including the right to share the personal data of the people in it.
Links to other sites
Where we link to HDB, BCA, URA, CASE or anyone else, that is for your convenience. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what is on them.
Part two: the 2026 pilot
What you get
- StampedID free until 31 December 2026. No payment details, no minimum term.
- Every feature in the Studio tier while the pilot runs: up to 10 concurrent projects, condo and MCST hours, permit renewal alerts, and exportable records.
- Setup done alongside you. We sit in on your first project setup and your first two subcontractor invitations.
- A direct line to the person building the product.
- The founding rate described below, if you meet the condition for it.
What we ask for in return
- One real project, run on StampedID from setup through to handover.
- Your subcontractors on that project using the field app to send evidence. We help onboard them.
- One 20-minute feedback call every two weeks with whoever runs the project day to day. Around six calls over three months.
- Honest answers, including "we stopped using it" and the reason why.
- Permission to use anonymised outcomes — days saved, rework avoided — in our material. Never your firm's name, your client, or the property address without your written consent.
The feedback calls are an expectation of the pilot, not a debt. If you stop showing up, we may end your place in the pilot. We will not invoice you for it.
The founding rate
If your firm runs at least one project through to handover on StampedID during the pilot, you may subscribe to the Studio tier at the yearly Foundation price of S$119 per month, and we will hold that price for 24 months from the day your paid subscription starts.
Conditions, so there is no argument later:
- The project must reach handover, recorded in StampedID, on or before 31 December 2026.
- The rate applies to the Studio tier as it is scoped at the time you subscribe.
- It is for your firm and cannot be transferred or sold on.
- It is billed yearly in advance and applies to the first two yearly terms.
- Prices exclude taxes. If GST becomes chargeable, it is added on top.
- After 24 months, standard pricing applies, and we will tell you {60 days} before that happens.
We intend this promise to be binding on us. It should be recorded in a short written pilot agreement signed by both sides rather than relied on from a web page.
Ending the pilot
Either of us can end your participation at any time, for any reason, by saying so. No notice period, no exit conversation, no penalty.
If the pilot ends, whoever ended it:
- you can export your data from the dashboard before your access closes, and we will help you do it;
- we will keep your account readable for {30 days} so you can get everything out;
- on your say-so, or at the end of that window, we delete the account, the project records and the stored files, including the image and audio objects themselves;
- if you leave before reaching handover on a project, the founding rate does not apply.
We may also end the whole pilot, or stop offering StampedID altogether. If we do, we will give you at least {60 days} notice and the same export and deletion rights.
What StampedID is not
This section matters more than the rest of the page. Read it.
- We are not a contractor. StampedID is not a registered renovation contractor, not a builder, not a consultant and not a licensed professional of any kind. We do not carry out, supervise or inspect building work.
- We do not pull permits. StampedID can track a permit's validity and remind you before it lapses. It does not apply for permits, does not submit anything to HDB, BCA, URA, a town council or an MCST, and has no connection to any of their systems. Every submission remains yours to make.
- We do not give professional advice. Nothing in the product or on this site is legal, regulatory, engineering, safety or financial advice. The rules we build in — permitted hours, hacking limits, permit tracking, building-specific hours — are defaults we have configured from published sources. Rules change and buildings differ. Check the rules that apply to your job with the authority or the MCST, every time.
- Compliance stays yours. You remain fully responsible for complying with HDB rules, MCST by-laws, BCA and URA requirements, workplace safety law, and every contract you have with your client and your trade partners. A warning that does not appear in StampedID is not permission. StampedID warns; it never authorises.
- Verification is your judgement. Accepting a piece of evidence is a decision made by a person in your firm. Our automated checks on evidence — duplicate, location, timing, quality — are advisory flags only. They are not an assessment of workmanship, they can be wrong in both directions, and they never replace your inspection or your own quality control.
- Evidence is not a certificate. A record in StampedID shows that something was submitted, accepted and when. It does not certify that work is compliant, safe, or fit for purpose, and it is not a substitute for any inspection or certification the law requires.
- We hold no money. StampedID records what was accepted. It does not price work, issue invoices, hold funds, move funds, or act as an escrow or payment service. A subcontractor can export a record of verified work and take it wherever they like; what happens to the money after that is between the parties.
- We do not rate firms. StampedID does not publish any rating, score or public judgement about a subcontractor.
Availability and warranties
During the pilot, StampedID is provided as it is and as it is available. We will try to keep it running and to keep your data safe, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will fit any particular purpose. It is early software and you are using it early on purpose.
Except where the law says otherwise, all implied terms, conditions and warranties are excluded to the fullest extent permitted.
Limits on what we are liable for
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including under Singapore's Unfair Contract Terms Act.
Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of contracts, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, liquidated damages you owe a client, delay-related loss, cost of rectification or rework, loss of goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss, however it arises.
Subject to that, our total liability arising out of or in connection with StampedID in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you actually paid us for the service in that period and S$500. During the pilot you pay nothing, so this means our liability is limited to S$500.
We think this is reasonable because the product is supplied free during the pilot, because you remain in control of every decision it informs, and because the losses that a construction delay can cause are far beyond anything we could insure against at this stage. We accept that whether it is in fact reasonable is a question for a Singapore court under the Unfair Contract Terms Act, not for us to decide in our own terms.
Keeping each other whole
You agree to cover us for claims brought against us by a third party that arise from content you uploaded, from personal data you shared without the right to share it, or from your use of StampedID in breach of these terms. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and let you take the lead in dealing with it.
Odds and ends
- Changes. We may change these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email account holders at least {30 days} before it takes effect. Using the service after that means you accept it.
- The whole agreement. These terms, the privacy notice, the disclaimers page and any signed pilot agreement are the whole of what is agreed between us, and they replace anything said in a meeting or a chat. A signed pilot agreement wins where it conflicts with this page.
- Severability. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still stands.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours to a company incorporated to operate StampedID, and we will tell you when we do.
- Third parties. Nobody other than you and us can enforce these terms. The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 does not apply.
Law and where disputes go
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. If we cannot sort a dispute out between us, the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.
